I was kinda sad last night yet really happy last night.

See I've always been really close with my family members, distant or close,

(though in Maori families, you could be the 2nd cousin of your 3rd cousin's sister's husband and you'd still be considered as close family)

Anywho, like I was saying, I'm really close with most of my family, I love them to bits and all that jazz.

But last night, by accident, I was emailed by an old school friend of mine, well long story short, he told me that one of my cousin's has a little girl.

Now silly me sat here thinking of booties and hats that I could buy her, that was until I was told that she was 2 ALMOST 3!!!!!!

I sat here for a while, stunned like a mullet. It seems like I was the ONLY one who wasn't told LOL

See my cousin and his twin brother have always been close with me and my twin brother, so it kinda stung a bit to find out this way.

So I got on the phone...lol

I called his twin brother and asked what his number was then called the guy himself.

Well in the end we got down to the bottom of it all.

Turns out that since he didn't know my number at the time as I wasn't back living here then, he had passed on the message to my brother, who was meant to tell me!!!! LOL

So, after that conversation ended, after we had talked for hours, I went into the next room, got a pillow and threw it at my brother LOL

Lesson for the day for me is....

NEVER TRUST MY BROTHER TO GIVE ME A MESSAGE
